This week is our final block week for the Block of the Week Challenge! I would like to thank everyone who stuck with us and I cant wait to see your finished sampler quilts!
Lets get straight to the blocks!
This week you will need:
(16) Blue/Neutral Half Square Triangles
(16) Red/Neutral Half Square Triangles
Block 29
Arrange the half square triangle units as shown. Sew the units into rows and press, alternating directions each row. Sew the rows together and press open to complete the block.
Block 30
I love the “X” pattern formed by the neutrals across this block!
Sew the units into rows. Press the rows alternating directions. Sew the rows together and press to finish your block!
This wraps up our block-making for the project. The reveal will be posted soon, but for those of you who are impatient, you can join the blocks in a 5×6 setting with 1 1/2″ strips as sashing….if you want. Otherwise you can join in next week as we work together to finish our quilts.
Here are my finished blocks for this week!
See how those neutrals shine in the “X” block?
Thanks again for sticking around.
Until next time,
TIa
